Add Image Assets to the Canvas

From the image panel, you can view all the image assets you uploaded. Drag an image asset onto the canvas to add it to your design.

Resize Images

Select an image element, drag the circular handles on its bounding box to resize.

You can hold "Shift" to resize it with the same aspect ratio.

Round Image Corners

You can edit the roundness of the image corners in the image property panel:

  1. Select an image element

  2. Enter a radius value in the roundness input

To round each corner individually, click option button behind the roundness input to open the roundness sub panel. You can input radius values for each corner.

Image Display Mode

An image asset can be displayed two ways inside the element box. You can edit the image display mode from the image property panel on the right side of the page.

Contain Mode keeps the image its original aspect ratio inside the element box and won't be cropped. It's normally used on images like product shots or logos.

Cover Mode scales the image to fill and cover the entire element box. The image might be auto-cropped if the element box's aspect ratio is different from the image's. The center of the image will be where its focal point is.

Image Crop Variants

In Marpipe, you are able to create multiple crop versions of an image asset and save as this image's crop variants. The crop variants only serve a propose of making an image fit to their liking within a design. In the Marpipe Intelligence, the data of the crop variants will be aggregated to one asset.

You can add image crop variants in two ways:

Create a new image crop:

  1. Select an image element on the canvas

  2. Click Crop in the element button group on the top right of the page

  3. Select New Crop in the crop variant window

  4. Adjust the crop to what you desired

  5. Click Done

Upload a new image crop:

  3. Select Upload Crop in the crop variant window

  4. Select one or multiple image files from your local computer

  5. Click Open to upload
