Learn how to upload and edit image assets in the Assets Library

Upload Image Assets

  1. Hover on the Add Assets button on the top of the page

  2. Click Upload files

  3. Select one or multiple jpg or png files from your local computer

  4. Click Open to upload selected files

Check here to for a list of types and sizes Marpipe supports.


Edit Image Assets

  1. Hover on an image you want to edit

  2. Click Edit (Pencil icon)

Then you can see the edit image panel will show up on the right of the page, from there you are able to edit various of properties of the image.

Edit the Name of the Image Asset:

Click the assets name input in the top field and input a new name


Edit the Focal Point of an Image

The focal point of an image controls how the image is automatically positioned and resized when the image is cropped under cover mode in an experiment. It decides where is an image's center.

To edit the focal point, slide the white dot around to leave it on where you want it to be.

You can also manually specify the x and y coordinates in the fields below your image.


Add Image Crop Variants

In Marpipe, you are able to create multiple crop versions of an image asset and save as this image's crop variants. The crop variants only serve a propose of making an image fit to their liking within a design. In the Marpipe Intelligence, the data of the crop variants will be aggregated to one asset.

You can add image crop variants in two ways:

Create a new image crop:

  1. Select Crop in the edit asset panel

  2. Select New Crop in the crop variant window

  3. Adjust the crop to what you desired

  4. Click Done

Upload a new image crop:

  1. Select Crop in the edit asset panel

  2. Select Upload Crop in the crop variant window

  3. Select one or multiple image files from your local computer

  4. Click Open to upload
