There are a few ways to add in your enriched feeds to Commerce Manager:
Replace a data source
Supplement a data source
Create a new catalog
Replace a Data Source
Pros: Retain all audience & pixel data in your current catalog; use multiple designs as separate data sources; images auto-roll into existing campaigns
If you would like to use your enriched feed designs across your entire catalog, you can simply replace the current data source you have in your catalog.
Open the Catalog tab and go to Data sources.
Select the data feed that you want to update.
Select Settings.
Upload your updated data feed file in the Replace Schedule
You can also add multiple designs to a single catalog as separate data sources; however, there cannot be any product row overlap between the data sources added.
To add multiple designs into your catalog, filter your designs in Marpipe to prevent product row overlap, and add them in as new data sources. If filtered correctly, all of your products will be accounted for across all data sources.
Supplement a Data Source
Pros: Retain all audience & pixel data in your current catalog; images auto-roll into existing campaigns
You can overlay a subset or your entire enriched feed as a supplemental feed in your catalog. The product information will remain the exact same, and only the image used to advertise the product will be updated with the new design.
Each data source in a catalog can only have one supplemental feed linked to it. In order to add multiple designs, the catalog must contain multiple feeds so each feed can be linked to a different supplemental source.
Open the Catalog tab and go to Data sources.
Under Supplementary Feeds, select Add Supplementary Feed
Follow the prompts to upload and link your supplementary feed
Create a New Catalog
Pros: Manage a new catalog without messing with existing campaigns
You can house your enriched feeds in their own catalog to manage if you prefer not to mess with your existing product catalog.
Catalogs save product purchase data for performance optimization. By creating a new catalog, you will likely not see great performance for an extended time until Facebook learns where to send products within the catalog.
Go the the Commerce Manager home page
Under Catalogs, select Add Catalog
Follow the prompts to create the new catalog and upload your enriched feed
