There may be a point in which you want to adjust a template without editing the original, or use a template as a base for an alternate layout.

There are three ways to clone your template:

Clone from your Designs page

To clone a template from your Designs page, click the three dots to the right of the template you want to clone and select Clone. This will duplicate the template into your drafts without adding it to your current output feed

You can select multiple templates to clone by checking them on the left and clicking Clone at the bottom of the interface

Clone from your Output Feed

To clone a template from your Output Feed, click the three dots to the right of the template you want to clone and select Clone. This will duplicate the template as a draft into the existing treatment slot

Clone from your Canvas

To clone a template from your Canvas, click the three dots in the upper left corner of the canvas select Clone Design. This will duplicate the template into your drafts without adding it to your current output feed

When to clone your design

  1. You want to use an existing template as a base for a new design

  2. You need to make changes to an existing design without editing the original

  3. You need to add additional elements to a design to use in tandem with the original (Clone from Output Feed is helpful here)
