Learn how to add and edit text assets in the Assets Library

Add In-Image Copy

  1. Hover on the Add Assets button on the top of the page

  2. Click Add In-Image Copy

  3. Input the text label and the message in the content area in the text editor

  4. Click plus (“+”) button to add multiple copy

Your text will render exactly as you type it, so be sure to manually insert line breaks if you think you'll need them. You can also assign a color to your copy by clicking the blue dot beside the text label.

Add Out-of-Image Copy

  1. Hover on the Add Assets button on the top of the page

  2. Click Add Out-of Image Copy

  3. Input the text label, headline and the message in the content area in the text editor

  4. Click plus (“+”) button to add multiple copy

You can also assign a color to your copy by clicking the blue dot beside the text label. Out-of-image copy is automatically sized by Facebook to fit the feed, so it will wrap automatically when it's used.

Edit Copy Asset

  1. Hover on an copy you want to edit

  2. Click Edit (Pencil icon)

  3. Edit the copy label and message

  4. Click the outside area of the text input to confirm the changes
