When your Marpipe output feed is connected to your catalog, it will be requested by Meta on a set scheduled frequency (typically hourly). If you need Meta to ingest the feed outside of its scheduled syncing time, this can be done within your catalog.

Pushing an updated feed to Meta

If this option is toggled ON in your Marpipe output feed, Marpipe will attempt to push the updated product feed to Meta on your behalf when you click Sync Again or Publish Updates:

Sometimes you may see this message appear during your publishing process in Marpipe:

This normally occurs when Meta is already in the process of requesting a feed at the time the updated feed was being pushed. Meta cannot upload the updated feed during a scheduled sync.

If you see this message, follow these steps:

  1. Go to your catalog in Meta Commerce Manager

  2. Click on Data Sources on the left nav-bar

  3. Wait for your current Marpipe feed sync to complete

  4. Click on the Marpipe feed

  5. Go to the Settings tab

  6. Click Request Update Now

Once your manual sync is complete, all of the updates you made to your Marpipe output feed will be ingested into Meta.
